My Saturday

Today started off cold, wet, and very early. I woke up way to early on a Saturday to go into the lab and work on some of my new CAS samples. It was POURING and there were snow clouds all around. When i left the lab around noon the rain had cleared for a short time and the mountains were covered in snow. It was so strange to see snow in Riverside so low on the mountains.

Then i went with Megan to pick up our pieces from Color Me Mine that we painted last sunday as part of my birthday celebration. They turned out great. SUCCESS!!

then i had made plans with Kelsie to go to her Boss's house and babysit their two month old baby, Nolan. On the way there we came across a beautiful orchard of tangerine trees that weren't fenced in and so we parked on the side of the road and picked a bunch. I was so happy and excited. I LOVE TANGERINES! and they taste so good. We couldn't find a bag in her car so we fit as many as we could into our purses.

We ended up staying over and watching Nolan for almost five hours! It was so nice to hold and be around a baby. Such good therapy for me. He basically slept the entire time in my arms while we watched TV. Today was good
