Friday we went to the salton sea to collect samples for my geochemistry of natural waters class. it was absolutely disgusting. i can't really explain it, you had to be there to be impacted the way we were. the smell is horrific and as you will see from the pictures (link below) the amounts of dead fish are almost unreal.
i literately felt like i was in the beginning of a CSI episode and at any moment a dead body was gonna float up from the bottom of the disgusting water.
